My parents call me Ellie, my Japanese friends and grandma know me as エリカ, my South American friends call me Eli, but must people just call me Elica. Acquaintances butcher my name.

I study linguistics/psychology and double major with a foreign language. I know/have studied/am studying English, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, and French. I want to study one more because I hate even numbers. I like the number 7 too.

When I'm not in school, I am working for an online travel magazine as their web editor and language/student travel columnist, and occasional travel writer.

When I'm not in school or when I'm not working, I'm doing other things like eating, sleeping, more writing, and drawing when I have inspiration.

I smile all the time.
